Motor Vehicle (what you must do after accident or theft)

Take all reasonable steps to protect or safeguard your vehicle from further loss, damage or theft.

 At Fault  

• Do not admit liability if at fault or make an offer, settlement, promise or payment
• Complete claim form and forward any third party demand immediately to our office  

Not at Fault  -  For faultless excess to apply

• Insurer must be satisfied you’re not at fault
• Provide full name, license number, address and registration number of third party responsible

Theft, Fire or Malicious Damage

• Notify police immediately
• Complete claim form and forward to our office 

Property Claims

• Take all reasonable precautions to prevent further loss, damage or liability
• Notify police immediately if property is lost, stolen or maliciously damaged
• Notify us immediately by phone or email if claim over $3000
• Complete claim form and forward to our office with documents to support your claim
• Do not carry out major repairs without insurers permission
