Austbrokers Sydney came into being in January 2006 as a merger between three well known brokerages who were highly successful within different areas of insurance and had a history of over 20 years.

These three brokerages were Adept Insurance Brokers (Adept), Australian European Insurance Brokers (AEI) and Wilburtins McDonald Insurance Brokers (Wilburtins).

Together these businesses were servicing clients in a multitude of occupations and industries. They subsequently joined the Austbrokers Network in order to increase their already considerable commercial leverage while retaining independence from all insurer groups.

The merger that formed Austbrokers ABS provides clients with a diverse range of specialist knowledge and experience within one company. While we do have particular expertise in various sectors this means we can answer the insurance and risk management needs of virtually any enterprise.
